Eraserheads.

They re-opened the minds of the Filipinos for rock music. They gave us numerous hit songs – Toyang, Pare Ko and Magasin just to mention a few. They sold hundreds of thousand of albums. They were a hit. Well at least for me because I believed in them. Not one Pinoy band ever came close to what they achieved. Their songs changed our minds and affected our lives.

But one day, they were gone.

They disbanded for unknown reasons. A lot of the fans were disappointed. I was one of them. The Philippine music scene was never the same. Until now.

War. Famine. Super-typhoons. Flash floods. Super strong Earthquakes. Lito Camo songs on the radio. The earth is nearing its end. But before we all witness the upcoming armageddon, the Eraserheads will try to play for us one last time.

Eraserheads, the greatest band that ever stepped on the Philippine soil will soon reunite for one show.

On August 30, 2008 at the CCP grounds, Eraserheads will make you smile, laugh and cry.
