My friend Macky has brought to the apartment another local CD compilation. It’s a revival album of the old songs our parents loved. I’ll listen to it first then write a review here later.

Ok, so I got into listening into it already. There are only a few noteworthy tracks on the Hopia Mani Popcorn compilation album. The best one is the “Kapalaran” remake by RadioActiveSago Project. These guys are really good. Another good track worth listening here is Mayonnaise’s rendition of Ipagpatawad Mo. You’ll end up singing with Monty. I also like Kapatid’s track but I forgot the title. Kitchie Nadal’s T.L. ako sa yo sounded very… I don’t like it. Join the Club’s Handog rendition has also impressed my cheap ear. The rest of the tracks are garbage especially the first track. it’s not worth mentioning. What’s with those lead guitar licks that doesn’t justify the song.
